im dumb so tell me what FSM is and i dont even know if i need to shave it the .05 i have to get the head to my house first and find out... right now its .030

FSM is the Factory Service Manual. Its essentially the best book set you can buy for your Saturn. It has mucho info on everything. Expensive, but a great investment. The dealerships sell them.

Any timing issues with a .020 shave?

Or should I get the cam gears anyways.
