Ok me and Nefarious chatted,Graniteguy told me u cant use less than a 75 shot on a DP,is this true?I know ill outgrow a standard wet kit so i just want 2 start out DP,but i want 2 start out w/ a 35 shot and tune my way up.Think ill get any problems w/ it?

Nope Im going to be running it but with a 75...

I thought so too the you lowest you can go is with a 75 unless that's for a dry kit ??

But I say go for it if your trying to get big numbers eventually you will need it...

naw, 75 direct port dry? would be devistating Shocked

im waiting to hear an explanation why it would be bad to run under a 75

Because of the jets. From my understanding since the combined jet rating is with 4 foggers, there is no way to go lower than a 75 shot. Something to do with fuel pressure too. I forgot the specifics, I just remember you can't.

Graniteguy should step in here soon, he has all the specifics directly from NOS or NX...

This is what Graniteguy PMed W/

That amount of nitrous or fuel has to be split between 4 jets/nozzles instead of one. Thats a hole 4 times smaller than on a single fogger. It can't be done. The smallest you can go is 75 but this requires the fuel to the system to be reduced to 10 psi.

This is with NX and I believe it will apply to other brands but you need to check.


So i guess ill contact NX 2 find out

Ok, there you go. If you are only going to spray a 35 shot don't even waste your money with a DP kit, just get a single fogger wet kit. I know if I had a DP kit I'd run a 100 shot on my stock engine...

Im thinking about doing that and just say screw it with the 75...
