I know that on some LLO's people changed the plug gap for running nitrous.

Say one wanted to run a 50 or 75 shot on a 2.2, and they had a set of BKR5E-11's (two steps colder) in there already. Should I gap them normally or go lower? Why would you reduce the gap anyway?

Thanks guys.

the stock gap should remain, if not you'll have idle and other issues

Um I run a tighter gap to help ward off misfiring... Am I being dumb again?

And bkre5's are hotter than the 7's.

Thanks Dan, that's what I wanted to know. I was concerned if reducing the gap would cause it to miss at all, so I figured stock would be fine for the 50 and 75.

I thought the 5's were 2 steps colder? the 7's are? I'm going from memory that is uber-foggy right now.

that's fine, I didn't order them yet so no worries.

I have to pull mine out and check them. I've had one person tell me .040, one said .045, and one said .060 Rolling Eyes

I was figuring .045 or .040 since that's what the NGK's are going to be, and the owner's manual listed .045
