Ok, I was trying to take my line off the bottle, and the fitting on the bottle snapped. Dont ask me why....I just have the worst fucking luck ever....anyway, what I need to know is, can I replace that little fitting(goes in the giant nut) without losing all the nitrous? Or will it be ok as long as the bottles closed? My bottle is pretty much full, thats why Im worried. Rolling Eyes

You're not the only one this happened to. When you buy a new one you should get both the fitting and the big nut. My replacement was brass which seems better because it will flex a little instead of breaking like yours did. To answer your question, as long as the valve is closed, you shouldn't lose any gas.

No, these little fittings can only take so much stress. For whatever reason it was so tight I couldnt twist it off, so it just broke. Confused But yeah Ive had nothing BUT bad luck with nitrous. But Im not going to say anything about anything blowing up because then I would jinx myself. Thanks graniteguy...at least I wont have to get it refilled.
